Monday- Thanksgiving Rotations. We will be reviewing
multiplication facts and for our Math and Science tests that are on Tuesday.
Homework: Math text book pages 158 and
159. Study for Science test tomorrow. Students took home a stapled packet (Environments, Animal Adaptions, and Animal Populations) on Friday to study for science.
Tuesday- Math Test and Science Test. We will continue Thanksgiving rotations. No Homework.
Wednesday-ELECTRONICS
DAY! Bring your favorite electronic device. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Reading Skill: Drawing Conclusions
Reading Story: Night Letters (Test Friday)
Language: Subject-Verb Agreement (Test Friday) Most singular subjects need an "s" at the end of present tense verbs. (ex: She sings a song.) Most plural subjects need a present tense verb that does not end in an "s". (ex: They sing a song)
Spelling: (Test Friday) Our spelling words are words with the consonant sounds /j/ and /k/. Words are: clock, large, page, mark, kitten, judge, crack, edge, pocket, brake, change, ridge, jacket, badge, orange.
Challenge words are: freckles, advantage, pledge, Kentucky, kingdom
Math: Topic 7: Division - Students will STRUGGLE with division if they do not have their multiplication facts memorized. PLEASE CONTINUE HAVING MULTIPLICATION DRILLS NIGHTLY!!!
Social Studies: We are starting our Geography unit. This week we will focus on continents, oceans, and landforms. Students will have a map labeling quiz (continents and oceans) on Tuesday.
Homework:
Monday: Read AR for 20 minutes and complete reading log. Study multiplication facts. Study map.
Tuesday: Read Night Letters and complete reading log - Due Thursday. Study multiplication facts.
Wednesday: Study multiplication facts.
Thursday: Read AR for 20 minutes complete reading log. Study for tests. Study multiplication facts.
