Reading Story: A Symphony of Whales (Test Friday)

Language:  Verb Tenses (Test Friday)  
Present tense:  A fish jumps out of the pond.
Past tense:  A fish jumped out of the pond.
Future tense:  A fish will jump out of the pond.

Spelling: (Test Friday) Our spelling words end with suffixes -ly, -ful, -ness, and -less.  The words are: beautiful, safely, kindness, finally, spotless, worthless, illness, helpful, daily, suddenly, wireless, quietly, fairness, cheerful, painful.The challenge words are: anxiously, thoughtfully, cautiously, tardiness, breathless

Math: Topic 8: Division Facts STUDY MULTIPLICATION AT HOME NIGHTLY!

Social Studies: Geography: Types of Maps, Compass Roses, Map Keys.  

Homework:
Students are bringing home nightly multiplication practice sheets.  The top of the page is the timed quiz from the day.  Students that pass that quiz move to the next fact.  Students that did not pass the quiz will remain on that fact until they have passed.  Homework will be collected every morning. 


Monday: Read AR for 20 minutes and complete reading log. Study multiplication facts. 
Tuesday: Read A Symphony of Whales and complete reading log - Due Thursday. Study multiplication facts.
Wednesday: Study multiplication facts.
Thursday: Read AR for 20 minutes complete reading log. Study for tests. Study multiplication facts.
Friday: Study multiplication facts.
