Reading: Biographies (Main Idea and Cause/Effect)-Students will complete a quick summary of their 20 minute nightly reading homework. They will turn in the summary each morning. It will be returned to them each afternoon.

-10 list words to study
-3 No Excuse Words for writing. These words don't follow patterns, but are common in writing. Students will need to write these words in a sentence.
-Students will also be given 10 additional words that follow the spelling pattern for the week.
Math: Unit 6: Quadrilaterals, Perimeter, Area
Writing: Writing Opinion/Persuasive
-We will continue writing our opinion speeches -For grammar (Mentor Sentence) we are focusing on adjectives.
-Students will have a Mentor Sentence quiz Friday.
Social Studies: South America
- Major countries and important landforms
- They will have a quiz Friday.
Study Island Lunch Club: Students that complete 5 ribbons at home this week and return the lunch ticket will be able to eat lunch in the classroom Friday.
