THURSDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO MEET READING GOALS!!!  
Students that meet their goal will be able to shop at the AR store and are eligible for the school lock-in in April.
 
Reading:  What Do Illustrators Do? (Informational Text)
Comprehension skill:  Test Features
Phonics:  Clusters (scr-, spr-, str-, thr-)
Vocabulary Strategy:  Synonyms and Antonyms

Language: Verb Tenses
The tense of a sentence can be changed by changing the tense of the verb: either past, present, or future.  Present tense verbs sometimes end in -ing, past tense often end in -ed, and future tense begin with will. Test Thursday

Spelling: three, scrap, street, spring, thrill, scream, strange, throw, string, scrape, spray, threw, strong, scratch, think, they Challenge: straight, scramble  Test Thursday

Math: Topic 3 - Subtraction  Test Wednesday

Social Studies: We will begin our Economics Unit, starting with needs vs. wants and goods/services.

Homework: 
Monday: Read What Do Illustrators Do? aloud to an adult.  Complete Reader's Response on story.  (Due Thursday).

Tuesday: Read AR. Work on Study Island. Complete math text pages 102/103

Wednesday: Study for tests. Read AR and complete Reader's Response sheet (Due Friday). 

Fall Break: Read AR. Work on Study Island.
