READING: Good reading habits, Building Stamina, Logging Books, Using Context Clues to determine meaning of unknown words

MATH: Two/Three-Digit Addition 

LANGUAGE: Plural Rules (irregulars, and -ves & -s, -es, -ies review) 

VOCABULARY
1-fragile, defend, research, pledge, specific
2-assemble, grumble, calculate, elegant, precise
3-pause, gasp, acient, observe, brief


SPELLING: The list for the entire year is in student take-home folders. Words will need to be spelled correctly WITHIN a sentence.  The sentence will need a capital letter beginning and ending punctuation to receive full credit. Words are: correct, oh, quickly, person, became - Test Friday

WRITING: Narratives - Writing with stamina, accomplishing goals, adding leads, using transitions

Homework: 
-Read nightly (write the title of the book on the calendar in take home folders)  
-Study for spelling test
