Reading Story: Goodbye, 382 Shin Dang Dong (Test Friday)
Language: Adverbs (Test Friday) An adverb describes a verb. Adverbs tell how, when, or where the action
happens. Example: I sang loudly. Many adverbs end with the suffix "ly", but not all
of them do. Example: I always brush my
teeth.
Spelling: (Test Friday) The spelling words this week are words with the vowel sound you hear in the word
ball. You can use the letters a, au, and aw to make this sound. The spelling
words are: small, almost, always, because, straw, drawn, also, author,
false, already, flaw, sausage, applause, walnut, and lawn. Challenge Words: awesome, altogether, awning,
faucet, laundry
