Reading Skill: Compare and Contrast

Reading Story: Suki's Kimono (Test Friday)

Language:  Adjectives (Test Friday)  An adjective is a word that can describe a noun.  "A", "an", and "the" are special adjectives called articles. Example:  The little brown dog walked down the trail. (The, little, and brown are adjectives/articles describing the noun dog.  The is an adjective/article describing trail.)

Spelling: (Test Friday)  Spelling words will be words with the CVVC or CVV pattern.  The spelling words are: create, medium, piano, idea, radio, video, studio, violin, duo, patio, rodeo, pioneer, trio, stadium, audio Challenge Words:  audience, radiate, cereal, Creole, recreation

Math: Topic 12: Fractions (My favorite!)

Social Studies: Government: Citizenship and Branches of Government 

Homework:
Monday: Read AR for 20 minutes and complete reading log
Tuesday: Read Suki's Kimono and complete reading log - Due Thursday. 
Thursday: Read AR for 20 minutes and complete reading log. Study for tests.
