Reading Skill: Main Idea and Supporting Details

Reading Story: Prudy's Problem (Test Thursday)



Language:  Irregular Plural Nouns (Test Thursday) These words don't follow plural rules.  Example: deer/deer, man/men, leaf/leaves.

Spelling: (Test Thursday)Words are compound words: sunglasses, football, homework, haircut, popcorn, railroad, snowstorm, earring, scarecrow, blueberry, butterflies, lawnmower, campground, sandbox, and toothbrush.  Challenge words are:  thumbtack, earthquake, scrapbook, courthouse, and whirlpool  

Math: Topic 4: Subtraction (Test Thursday)


Science: Plant and Animal Structures, Food Chains, Competition 

Homework (Note Changes):

Monday
: Read Prudy's Problem aloud and complete reading log. This is due Wednesday.
Tuesday: Read Prudy's Problem aloud and complete reading log if not completed Monday.
Wednesday: Study for tests. Students may have a few math problems in preparation for the test Thursday.
