Reading Story: Rocks In His Head (Test Friday)
Reading Skill:   Generalize 
Language: Possessive Pronouns (Test Friday) 
Pronouns are words that take the place of nouns.  Possessive pronouns are pronouns that own something.  (example:  his shirt, her dress, its mouth, their class.)
Math: Patterns 
Science: Rocks and Minerals  We will be testing mineral properties in our mineral lab on Monday and Tuesday.  We will be testing certain properties: streak color, transparency, hardness, luster, and magnetism.
Spelling:  (Test Friday) Spelling words are words using prefixes that DO NOT change the base word's spelling.  
Words are:  prepaid, midnight, overflow, outdoors, outline, overgrown, prefix, Midwest, pretest, midpoint, outgoing, overtime, overdue, outside, outfield.  
Challenge words are:  precaution, prediction, midsection, overweight, and prehistoric.
