Spelling: (Test Friday) Spelling words this week are irregular plurals.  They are: wolves, knives, feet, men, children, women, sheep, heroes, scarves, mice, geese, cuffs, elves, banjos, and halves.
The challenge words are: loaves, beliefs, tomatoes, potatoes, and tornadoes.
Math: Topic 8: Division (Test Friday)
STUDENTS MUST KNOW THEIR MULTIPLICATION FACTS IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN DIVISION.  We will contine daily fact quizzes.  Please refer to the Multiplication Quiz post for a schedule of fact quizzes. Students that have not mastered certain facts will begin retaking them on Friday, December 16th...starting with 2s.
Social Studies: Reading a Timeline/History

-- Cookie Dough orders can be picked up on Tuesday, December 13th from 12:00-6:00.
-- Instead of having students bring in a $5 gift to exhange with each other, our class will collect can goods to donate to the Second Harvest food bank. Please send in items by Friday, December 16th. My goal would be 100 items. :)
-- Please return holiday pictures if you do not wish to purchase them.
-- Cheryl Hoffman, our room mom, has sent a letter with each kid today regarding the Christmas party. The party will be Wednesday at 9:00.
